I’ve been working to help build a zero carbon, greener economy and society since 2005. I believe that together we can minimise climate chaos and create a zero carbon world by 2050, of not before. This world is one that is better for all. This regenerative, more prosperous, democratic, human centric and resource consious world is possible, indeed it is well underway.

To date, the shift from a damaging fossil fuel powered system to one powered by sustainable thinking and renewables has been too slow, with emotionless numbers and economic business as usual setting the pace of change. As a scientist, artist, communicator and producer I have been bridging the gap between rational science driven data and emotional creative response to bring about a universal conversation that resonates with a greater number of people.

By forming a mixing pot of science and arts we bring about the crucial cultural change required to tackle climate chaos and propel renewable energy and sustainable practice into everyday life.

This is our decade of action.

Together we can create a zero carbon world by 2030. But, by definition, only together with creatives.

I have guest lectured on communication, arts and the environment at The University of Sheffield and The University of Thessaloniki in Greece, and spoken at Kings College, The Royal Festival Hall, The Art Conference and D&AD in London.

My work has featured in titles including The Guardian, National Geographic, BBC Earth, Vice and Huffington Post. Working with some of the world's leading green pioneers, I have led communications campaigns that drive our transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy from 'We Support Solar', to 'Divest!' greening high street banking.

In 2014 I set up Good Shout Studio , the communications consultancy for positive change to help bring creative communications to the sustainable business world. Later that year emerged Human Nature the international environmental art organisation, increasing the visibility of contemporary artists exploring our connection to nature across the world.

My roles have included Head of Communications at Little Sun, Campaign Director of Move your Money, and Head of Communications at Solarcentury. I have a BSc. in Geographical Sciences from the University of Bristol and have trained in Public Relations, journalism and documentary production.

I’ve worked with organisations across finance, renewable energy, international development, conservation, technology and the arts including Moniker Art Fair; Little Sun; CDP; C40 Cities; SolarAid; RE100; The University of Oxford; The New Economics Foundation (NEF); United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP); The International Renewable Energy Association (IRENA); The Industry Taskforce on Peak Oil and Energy Security (ITPOES); The Global Off-Grid Solar Energy Association (GOGLA); The Solar Trade Association (STA); Panasonic; Dukosi; Marine Power Systems; Triodos Bank; IP Group Investment; Abundance Investment; Greenpeace UK; 350.org; Defenders of Wildlife; EcoAlf and Julie's Bicycle.
